It May Be For the Best
I know that most guys who are trying to find some tips or some advice on what to do with an ex girlfriend are really hoping that they are going to be able to find a way to smooth things over with their ex girlfriend and that the last thing that they want to hear is that they should move on with their life and forget about her, but you know what? Sometimes that really is the only thing that you can do. Sometimes, even when you try and do all of the right things to convince your ex girlfriend to give you another chance, she still is convinced that it would be a mistake.
Rather than try and convince someone who does not want to be with you to take you back, why not put in that same effort and energy into finding out if there is someone else out there who may be right for you. I know that what you probably want to do is to try and work things out with your ex girlfriend and that is a noble goal to have, but you also have to be prepared for the possibility that it may not happen. You don't want to put all of your eggs into one basket and then end up disappointed and heartbroken, do you?
So, how does a guy move on?
Well, one thing that I would not do is to try and get into another committed relationship right away. If you still have feelings for your ex girlfriend, then you should know that you are probably not ready to be in another relationship with another woman. That does not mean that you shouldn't date around a bit and have some casual fun. In fact, that would be the first thing that I would do.
Commit to yourself that you are going to be casual about dating until you really are over your ex girlfriend.
Most women are okay with the fact that you only want to date casually if you are upfront about this and you don't try and play games with them by making them think that you want to be in a committed relationship. You don't have to be exclusive, you can just be ready to have some fun and that can really help you to forget about your ex girlfriend if it does not seem like you are ever going to be able to win her back.
